Ge'ez text per Charles/Knibb editions

From there I went westward to the ends of the earth and saw three gates of heaven open — the same as I had seen in the east, the same number of gates and the same number of outlets.

REF And from thence I went to the west to the ends of the earth, and saw there three portals of the heaven open such as I had seen in the east, the same number of portals, and the same number of outlets.

Translator Notes

  1. The symmetry between east and west gates — identical in number — reinforces the orderliness of the cosmic architecture. God's design is balanced and complete.
